Customers can take advantage of special deals at participating downtown Antioch businesses Feb. 13-16.

Restaurants, breweries, distilleries and wineries throughout Lake County are participating in the Lake County Flavor Festival with special menu items and promotions throughout the month of February.

Village of Antioch Mayor Scott Gartner led the ribbon-cutting ceremony and officially opened Sequoit Creek Park in August 2024.  The ceremony marked the conclusion of a milestone project for the village that was years in the making.

Built in 1992, Centennial Park was a true community effort—designed and constructed with the help of the families and children who would come to enjoy it.

The Antioch Police Department adopted a therapy dog in October to provide comfort to anyone who needs it. She visits locals schools and goes on police calls to serve victims.

Kelley Crimmins and Kim Biederman started with the Village of Antioch in fall 2024 and serve as the Communications/Event Specialist and Business Liaison, respectively.

The naming process for Sequoit Creek Park took place over the summer of 2024 with the help of Antioch residents.

The It’s Thursday Summer Concert Series takes place each Thursday evening From June through August at the William E. Brook Entertainment Complex (aka Antioch Bandshell).

A new village ordinance ensures all disabled veterans in Antioch get the support they need by waiving building permit fees for any home improvements. The ordinance takes effect Jan. 1, 2025.

Sidewalk renovations along Main Street in Downtown Antioch were completed in fall 2024.

The Vegas Cafe celebrated its 50th Anniversary in 2024.

Station 51 Truck Company Bar & Grill and BBQ’d Productions’ 10th annual Red Envelope Campaign marks a decade of giving back over $1 million in prizes throughout the years. All red envelopes contain prizes, ranging from a free dessert to the golden tickets, which, aside from the grand prize, could bring the holder anything from a new Kitchen-aid mixer to a grill, a television and more.

The Village of Antioch’s annual Winter Wine Walk features nearly 30 stops and more than 50 varieties of wine ripe for tasting.

From trendy bars and coffee shops to chic boutiques, restaurants and more, downtown Antioch offers many fun and festive ways to enjoy the holiday season this year.

Enjoy unique holiday drink specials and a delicious meal at The Lodge of Antioch Thursday through Saturday from 5-10pm.

The Village of Antioch welcomed two new employees to its team in the fall. Kelley Crimmins and Kim Biederman work to support local economic development and enhance public communication and engagement.

Thanks to a generous donation from the Antioch Lion’s Club, Antioch police officers and staff are learning how a 3-year-old lab named Flo enhances public safety by providing comfort to those in need. The newest recruit was sworn in at the November 13 Village Board meeting.
